In the summer of 2023, we partnered with Mary’s Place for another school supply drive! This time, we raised $5,300+, which we used to buy necessary items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, protractors, graphing calculators, and more.

Winter Gear Drive – 2023

This winter, Soul Connections hosted a winter clothing drive with well-established organizations within our community: KidVantage which is celebrating 33+ years, and REACH (run by Evergreen Treatment Services) which is celebrating 50 years. We also partnered with the King Country Library System by placing bins at the Bellevue, Lake Hills, and Newport Library. We donated around 550+ items worth $4000+.

School Supply Drive – 2022

In 2022, Soul Connections hosted a school supplies drive for Mary’s Place, a homeless shelter for women and children. We were able to donate around 50 backpacks, 50 lunchboxes, 50 $20 gift cards, 12 water bottles, 10 headphones, notebooks, binders, pencils, and more.

Sock Drive – 2019

In 2019, Soul Connections hosted a sock drive for The Sophia Way, a homeless shelter for women. Socks are one of the most needed items in homeless shelters, especially in winter. We were able to donate 1000+ socks, along with 200+ underwear.

Redmond Farmers Market – 2018

In 2018, Soul Connections made and sold handmade jewelry and greeting cards at the Redmond Farmers Market. All of our proceeds to Seattle Children’s Hospital!

Acton Children’s Business Fair – 2017

In 2017, Soul Connections participated in the ACTON Children’s Business Fair. We made fun, unique carnival games (Slide 2) for people to play. We made $2500 and donated it all to Seattle Children’s Hospital!

Sammamish Farmers Market – 2016

  • Handmade Earrings

In 2016, Soul Connections hosted its very first fundraiser! A major flood stuck in Chennai, India that impacted around 4 million people in the city. We wanted to help so we decided to raise money by selling handmade greeting cards, handmade Jewelry, and a few Crochet items. We completely sold out and raised around $2500+. We donated the money to the non-profit Association for India’s Development (AID) to help out in India. We also decided to donate money to Seattle Children’s Hospital which started our initiative to help our local community and our future events.
